The conversion of a recording studio into a two-story office space included a seismic upgrade and reconfiguration of dark, acoustic cubicles into a light, open working environment. This was accomplished by the use of angled walls, stained concrete floors, corrugated metal siding, and a skylight.
This 15,000 square foot facility provides social services for over 1,500 new emigrant families a year and daily programs, care, and supervision for 50 seniors. Amenities include a double-height space lit by a 20′ square skylight and a kosher kitchen.
